I started my real estate career at the age of 10 in 1979. (Yep, you read that right!) I was mentored by my father and his love of home architecture and design as far back as I can remember. We were habitual open house tourists together. I finally made it official and obtained my real estate license in 1999 and I haven’t looked back.
I've been fortunate to help hundreds of families move over the past 20 years, and I am fiercely protective of their best interests through every step of their journey. I have held their hands as they venture into new neighborhoods, wiped goodbye tears as they locked up the "old pad" for the last time, celebrated after finding their perfect new home and — the best of all — made forever friends along the way.
My loves other than this awesome small town city with big amenities, you ask?
- The KU Jayhawks (my money and awesome sons go there).
- Our Kansas City Royals… especially that stinkingly cute Salvador Perez.
- The love of my life, Jon.
- Roxi, my mini dachshund, who you'll often find by my side when I'm out and about.
As first time home buyers we were so lucky Carrie Beth was recommended to us. She walked us through the whole process and answered our (many) questions we had. She stuck up for us when it came to the house and getting things fixed the way we wanted it. She was great at reminding us when we needed to complete things and made it all so easy. I felt extremely confident in Carrie Beth as our realtor and would recommend her any day!

Carrie Beth Shouse is a highly knowledgeable and service oriented realtor. She went out of her way to educate us on the nuisances of buying condos in Kansas City. As a remote buyer we were particularly impressed by the extra service and timely communication throughout the process. She also made sure that all parties stayed on track to accommodate our short close timeline! She far exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend her for your home buying needs!
