One week from today we will be celebrating a day saved for giving thanks. For some this time of year is difficult. Grief, loss, illness, financial struggles all contribute. Maybe you miss Thanksgivings of the past when loved ones that are now gone were present. Personally, I find myself missing my mother the most this time of year. My favorite memory of her at Thanksgiving was how she made her gravy in the big iron skillet that was handed down to me. She has been gone almost 11 years and her loss will forever be felt. Grief is sneaky and it can steal seconds, minutes, days or years from you if you let it.
This year has brought many struggles to our family that we have not endured before. It has also brought many gifts, which reminds me of what my momma always used to say to me, “Remember, your cup is half full, not half empty”. She is still with me and I can still hear her wisdom ringing in my ears. When I find grief sneaking in this year I will also remember, my favorite message from Adam Hamilton. “The worst thing is not the last thing.”
I hope Thanksgiving brings you reasons to be grateful. Please know so many are so grateful for you. Wishing you a harvest of blessings, good health, and good times.
As usual, I have provided local housing marketing stats below. This is a difficult market to maneuver and I would love to be supportive to you if you need housing advice.
Blessings,

In remembrance of Mike “Milo” Fultz, Maria Fultz, Rex Murray, Randy Murray, Colleen Schroeger, Ruth Dreup and as always…Barbara Jean, my momma.
